The vision for this bathroom was clear: a modern, open, and stylish design that would include a sauna for at least two people. The result is a cosy yet luxurious wellness retreat, where every detail has been thoughtfully considered.
Gone are all traces of the old bathroom. With careful planning and a clever use of space, the seven-square-metre wet room has been completely transformed – maximising both function and aesthetics.
The CASENA Sauna – The Heart of the Design
The centrepiece of this newly designed space is the custom-made KLAFS CASENA sauna. Featuring a free-floating L-shaped bench and an elegant integrated glass front, it naturally draws admiration.
A perfect balance between tradition and modernity has been achieved through the choice of materials. The rustic “sunburnt reclaimed wood” brings warmth and character, while the generous glass elements lend a sleek, contemporary touch. The interplay of rich wood textures and clean architectural lines creates a striking contrast, further enhanced by the dimmable SUNSET backrest lighting, which bathes the sauna in a soft, intimate glow.
Smart Design for Ultimate Comfort
Despite its placement in an alcove, every inch of the sauna space has been optimised. The BONATHERM under-bench heater ensures an even distribution of heat while remaining discreetly hidden, preserving the sauna’s clean, minimalist aesthetic.
For maximum versatility, the patented SANARIUM® allows users to enjoy five different sauna experiences in one cabin—including the classic Finnish sauna, warm-air bath, tropical bath, aroma bath, and soft steam bath. And, of course, traditional infusions remain effortless, thanks to an infusion flap seamlessly integrated into the bench panel.
