As a developer of prestigious homes, Octagon Developments always looks for the highest standards and exceptional bespoke solutions.

Unsurprisingly, when it came to installing a luxury sauna and steam room in an exclusive six-bedroom mansion in Dröm UK has worked with Octagon on previous projects; however, this was among the largest. While Octagon built the spaces into which the sauna and steam room were fitted, Dröm UK undertook all other aspects of the work, including the production of detailed designs and CGI images so each detail was exactly right. Tile choices were made hand in hand with Octagon’s interior designer while the provision of services was agreed with the M&E consultant.

The 3m x 3m sauna has a full glass frontage with bespoke benches of aspen timber with dark, Espresso Ash inlays. A fibre optic lighting feature illuminates the ceiling while more discreet lighting is located behind the backrests. The custom made benches in the 1.8m x 2m steam room are adorned with beautiful mother of pearl mosaics and a magnificent bespoke vaulted ceiling adds further to the luxurious interior. Colour changing fibre optic lighting gives the appearance of a twinkling starry sky to enhance the bathing experience. Extensive use is made of glass for the frontage and door.
