KLAFS was instructed to convert three grade two listed barns into a luxury wellness suite at a private residence in the heart of picturesque Hertfordshire.
The customer requested a classic steam room and sauna configuration with an authentic feel as part of a large-scale redevelopment project. Our team came up with a luxurious design that seamlessly merges the traditional with deluxe components.
The warmly lit steam room features marble floor and wall tiles, complete with a vertical steam chimney. Meanwhile, the KLAFS PREMIUM sauna is adorned with traditional hemlock cladding and smooth obeche benches. The wellness oasis is complete with EV2 Champagne anodised handles, hinges, and frames throughout the building for a modern twist.
Guncast Pools & Wellness tackled the pool element of the brief. The luxury swimming pool experts installed an ample 10m x 5m outdoor swimming pool, just a stones-throw from the spa suite. Designed with family fun and relaxation in mind, the pool can accommodate six to 12 people at a time and has a gradual depth of 1.2m to 2.2m. For safety and security, an automatic slatted cover was installed, which is housed within the pool wall itself. The inviting crystal-clear pool is topped off with a diving board and stylish, complementary poolside furniture.
